IN BRIEF: Dev Clever wins major expansion of CSC Academy deal in India

Mon, 18th Oct 2021 14:21

Dev Clever Holdings PLC - Tamworth, England-based software developer for immersive learning and career guidance - Says Indian subsidiary and Veative Labs Pvt Ltd secure an important extension of their contract with CSC Academy in India. CSC has been conducting a pilot of the Dev Clever immersive platform at 25 of its 5,930 academy centres since the end of June. It now has agreed a phase-two programme that will see the platform rolled-out to all CSC academy centres in India. The programme will be offered to 2.6 million students, and Dev Clever will receive a one-off on-boarding fee and an annual subscription fee for each student, to be paid by CSC on behalf of the student, who also has the option to upgrade to a premium subscription. Success with the CSC academies could see the Dev Clever platform rolled out to all 350,000 CSC centres.

Last month, Dev Clever said it continues to work toward completing the acquisition of Veative Labs "as soon as practically possible", having been delayed by Covid-19 restrictions.

Asimilar Group PLC, which holds 76 million Dev Clever shares, noted Monday's announcement.
