DDD Group signs software distribution deal with AVerMedia

(ShareCast News) - AIM-listed imaging company DDD Group said its GenMe subsidiary had signed a distribution agreement for its TriDef SmartCam software with Taiwan-based multimedia specialist AVerMedia Technologies.The software will be used with AVerMedia's LGX Live Gamer Extreme game capture and streaming solution.The three-year, non-exclusive affiliate agreement that will operate on a revenue share basis between GenMe and AVerMedia, DDD said in a statement.AVerMedia's LGX Live Gamer Extreme is an advanced video capture solution specifically designed to meet the demands of state of the art video gameplay sharing. It captures 1080p uncompressed video at up to 60 frames per second with ultra-low latency, making it suited to real time video gameplay capture from PCs and game consoles alike.Eddie Chen, AVerMedia product manager said: "Having witnessed the rapid adoption of TriDef SmartCam by thousands of streaming gamers worldwide, AVerMedia is excited to announce that this amazing background removal feature, which works in real time and without any green screen, has been fully integrated into our new RECentral 2 software.""Now with just one click, gamers will be able to make their backgrounds disappear and put themselves into the game.
