LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed homebuilder Countryside Properties PLC said on Thursday it has been chosen as the preferred development partner of Kingston Council to work on the regeneration of the Cambridge Road Estate, London.
The project is expected to produce around 2,000 mixed tenure homes over the next 10 to 12 years.
"We are thrilled to have been selected and look forward to working with Kingston Council on the next stage of the procurement process to finalise the contracts for this vitally important project. We have been impressed with the level of commitment from the council and residents in conducting this competitive process," said Chief Executive Graham Cherry.
Shares in Countryside Properties were up 0.7% at 271.80 pence on Thursday.
