Oil support and fire services specialist Cosalt expects to complete an inquiry into the problems at its offshore division by mid-October.Mark Lejman, group chief executive, has taken over the running of the offshore division following the suspension of Calum Melville, its previous head."We are confident that the business and accounting procedures are robust and the management continues to provide the same level of support and service to all of our customers," Cosalt said.The group added that since May key customers in the North Sea have been cautious. In addition, sales of work wear equipment within the marine division have continued at a lower level than the previous year.As a consequence, revenues for the period 3 May to 29 August were lower than for the comparable period last year at £32.5m (2009: £35.7m).
