Cap-XX's supercapacitor selected for new product by China's FiiO

Fri, 10th Dec 2021 12:42

(Alliance News) - Cap-XX Ltd on Friday said that FiiO Electronics Technology Co Ltd included one of its supercapacitors in one of its new products.

Cap-XX shares were up 5.9% at 5.61 pence each on Friday morning in London following the news.

The New South Wales, Australia-headquartered ultra-thin prismatic and cylindrical supercapacitors manufacturer said FiiO selected its ultra-thin Cap-XX DMF470 supercap for its new M17 high fidelity portable music player.

The Guangzhou, China based electronics company integrated the supercapacitor because it delivers power bursts to offload peak-power functions from the battery and solves problems, such as weak bass, distortion, and flat-sounding music, Cap-XX.

The integration of the supercapacitor Cap-XX DMF470 supercap also proves the versatility of the product, Cap-XX said.

"We are proud to play a pivotal role in the groundbreaking performance of FiiO's new M17 portable music player.

This is just one example of how our thin prismatic supercapacitors can be excellent supporting actors for power management in all kinds of electronic devices," General Manager of Sales & Marketing Song Lau said.
