LONDON (Alliance News) - Cambridge Cognition Holdings PLC said Wednesday that Steven Powell, who has been head of its European Operations for the past year, has been appointed chief operating officer and will take up the role of chief executive officer on an interim basis.
Chief Executive Officer Nick Kerton will be taking an extended leave of absence from the company due to a serious medical condition, the company said.
"The board and all at Cambridge Cognition wish Nick all the best in dealing with his illness. We look forward to welcoming him back as soon as he is able to resume his responsibilities," said Chairman Michael Lewis in a statement.
Shares in Cambridge Cognition were up 2.1% at 87.32 pence Wednesday afternoon.
