AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: AFC gets Extreme E boost; Chamberlin raises cash

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Wednesday.

AIM - WINNERS

Cambridge Cognition Holdings PLC, up 15% at 138.67 pence, 12-month range 68.00p-195.00p. The Cambridge, England-based digital neuroscience company wins a GBP2.1 million deal to provide cognitive assessments, electronic diaries, and third-party hardware to two clinical trials focused on neurodegenerative disease.

AFC Energy PLC, up 11% at 37.87 pence, 12-month range 30.40p-83.00p. All-electric off-road SUV racing series Extreme E will continue using the company's zero-emission fuel cell for its 2022 season. The Surrey, England-based hydrogen power generation technology company's L series hydrogen power generator was used at all five races in the inaugural Extreme E 2021 season.

AIM - LOSERS

Chamberlin PLC, down 29% at 5.17p, 12-month range 5.00p-15.50p. The castings and engineering firm proposes placing and subscription to raise GBP1.8 million at five pence per share, a 31% discount to its closing price on Tuesday. "The additional funds from the placing and subscription are expected to enable the company to execute its strategy and will strengthen the company's balance sheet, giving it more flexibility to manage and achieve its optimum financial position," Chamberlin says. Shares hit this 12 month low on Wednesday.
