LONDON (Alliance News) - Cambridge Cognition Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a new wearables partnership with London-based design and research agency Ctrl Group.
Under the terms of the deal, the pair will develop digital health products to enable near-term cognitive testing using wearable and smart devices. Cambridge Cognition is working on technologies to enable the early detection of Alzheimer's disease.
"We are excited to be advancing our healthcare technologies into new products with partners who have synergistic technical skills to meet the growing needs of our pharmaceutical customers and address large non-clinical markets," said Steven Powell, Cambridge Cognition's chief executive.
"The move to near-user cognitive measures on consumer electronics marks a significant step for Cambridge Cognition in realising the company's aim to become the world leader in cognitive healthcare technologies," he added.
Cambridge Cognition shares were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 68.00 pence.
