(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

City of London Investment Group PLC, up 4.0% at 547.00 pence, 12-month range 300p-556p. The company says funds under management were USD11.1 billion as at March 31, slightly higher than USD11.0 billion as at the end of 2020. With regard to business development, the investment company says it continues to maintain an active pipeline across all of its major products. An interim dividend of 11 pence per share was paid on March 19. The company says it will announce a final dividend on July 13 in its pre-close trading update.

Porvair PLC, up 3.2% at 587.00p, 12-month range 422p-680p. The filtration and environmental technology firm says it has performed better than management expected in the four months ended March 31, with revenue 6% lower than the year prior. While aerospace activity remained subdued, other parts of the business started to see stronger demand. Porvair said it is "encouraged" that adjusted operating profit for the first four months of its current financial year is in line with a strong 2020 comparator.
