Ceramic Fuel Cells receives order from Dutch distributor

Mon, 26th Sep 2011 12:09

Fuel cell technology manufacturer Ceramic Fuel Cells has received an order for 100 BlueGen gas-to-electricity generators from its distributor in The Netherlands. Zestiq will market and sell the BlueGen units to small commercial and residential customers in The Netherlands over the next 12 months. The units will be installed and maintained by Eneco Installatie Bedrijven, the service company of Dutch energy company Eneco. Zestiq is part of the consortium of companies which in March 2011 bought and installed a BlueGen in a 17th century canal house "De Groene Bocht" in the centre of Amsterdam. Brendan Dow, managing director of Ceramic fuels, said: "We are very pleased to have received this large order from Zestiq, which complements the recent order for 100 units from our German distributor sanevo. We look forward to Zestiq and their utility partners installing these BlueGen generators with early customers and then driving further BlueGen sales in The Netherlands market."Zestiq has been a BlueGen distributor for Ceramic Fuel Cells since July 2011. The shares rose 0.375p to 8.125p on the morning of the announcement.
