Ceramic Fuel Cells has had its BlueGen gas to electricity generator certified by Australian Gas Association (AGA) for installation as a gas appliance in Australia.BlueGen has also received full CE safety approval for installation in homes and other buildings in Europe. The product, which is the first to comply with the new safety standard for fuel cell appliances in Australia, is now certified as a "Type A" gas appliance, an upgrade from its previous certification as a type B. This means that BlueGen units can be installed by a licensed and trained plumber/gas-fitter as for any other typical gas appliance in Australia without the need for an inspection of each installation. Ceramic Fuel Cells, which is the leading developer of high efficiency and low emission power products for homes and other buildings, worked closely with AGA to develop BlueGen. The product has also been certified for both indoor and outdoor installations. The share price was +8.24% at 11.50p at 13:15.
