(Alliance News) - Computacenter PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed current Arm Ltd Intellectual Property Group President Rene Haas as a non-executive director.
Haas joins the FTSE 250-listed IT firm with immediate effect. He is currently responsible for leading Arm's Intellectual Property Group, having previously been Arm's chief commercial officer and executive vice president of Sales & Marketing.
Haas was vice president & general manager of Computing Products at NVIDIA Corp for seven years.
Computacenter Chair Peter Ryan said: "Rene's global experience with a US focus, will complement the skills and background of our other Board members by bringing his insights into the leading-edge of long-term technological thinking."
Shares in Computacenter ended down 0.3% at 1,398.293 pence in London on Tuesday afternoon.
