HANOI (Dow Jones)--Vietnam's Dung Quat refinery will start processing crude from Azerbaijan and Malaysia later this year, state-run Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, or PetroVietnam, said Tuesday. The company has signed contracts with BP PLC (BP) and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic for the imports, it said in a statement on its website. SOCAR will ship about 408,837 barrels from the Azeirilight field from mid-August. In late August, BP will ship the same amount from Malaysia's Miri field. Dung Quat has been processing only domestic Bach Ho crude since it became operational in February 2009. -By Vu Trong Khanh, Dow Jones Newswires; +84 4 35123042; trong-khanh.vu@dowjones.com (END) Dow Jones Newswires July 26, 2010 22:21 ET (02:21 GMT)
