April 9 (Reuters) - GLOBAL MARKETS ROUNDUP
* Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange rose 0.4percent and the MSCI-Asia Pacific index excluding Japan was up 0.82 percent.
* Singapore Exchange earlier delayed the start oftrading on its derivatives market due to technical problems, thebourse said on Tuesday.
* The yen fell to new multi-year lows on Tuesday, pressuredby the Bank of Japan's aggressive reflationary campaign, whileAsian equities looked for support from a solid start to the U.S.quarterly earnings season.
* U.S. stocks ended a volatile session higher on Monday asinvestors looked ahead to an earnings season expected to showmodest growth despite concerns about the economy's health.
