LONDON (Alliance News) - Bluebird Merchant Ventures Ltd said Wednesday it reported "encouraging" results from its underground channel sampling at the Kochang on in-situ ore.
The company said it found "significant" gold samples in its underground workings of the mine.
"We are pleased with the recent results obtained from the underground channel sampling programme as well as the significant rate of progress that is being achieved at Kochang. The samples show positive indications of high average gold and silver grades," Chief Operating Officer Charles Barclay said.
Bluebird shares were trading up 2.2% at 3.20 pence.
