Baillie Gifford Japan Issues Shares At Premium Price (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - Baillie Gifford Japan Trust PLC Friday said it has issued 150,000 shares for cash at a price of 488.0 pence per share.

The trust said the 488.0p price represents a premium to its prevailing net asset value. According to an Alliance News calculation, the trust made around GBP732,000 in proceeds.

Baillie Gifford Japan shares were trading up 0.4% on Friday afternoon at 486.88p.
