LONDON (Alliance News) - Bacanora Minerals Ltd Thursday said it has issued 650,000 new shares in the company after three of its directors exercised options.
The three directors exercised the options at CAD0.24 per share, equating to 11.9 pence per share - significantly less than the company's current share price.
Bacanora shares were up 1.2% at 81.95 pence per share on Thursday morning.
President Martin Vidal Torres acquired 250,000 shares under the transaction, pushing his total shareholding to 750,000 shares equating to a 0.77% stake in the company.
Chief Financial Officer Derek Batorowski upped his shareholding by 100,000 shares to take his total holding to 451,000 shares, equal to a 0.46% stake.
Lastly, Non-Executive Director James Leahy purchased 200,000 shares to push his holding up to 916,346 shares, giving him a 0.94% stake in the company.
Following the transaction, Bacanora, which has a current market cap of around USD134.5 million, has under 97.3 million shares in issue.
