LONDON (Alliance News) - Credit Suisse Group AG and Barclays PLC are in settlement talks with the New York attorney general and the US Securities and Exchange Commission over allegations of wrongdoing in their dark pool private trading venues, the Wall Street Journal reported late on Tuesday.
Citing people familiar with the matter, the report said the talks could see Credit Suisse pay a fine in the "high tens of millions". It said the Barclays talks "also suggest a large fine".
