(Alliance News) - Data and events firm Ascential PLC on Tuesday confirmed it has postponed the Money 20/20 Europe event until September.
Ascential does not expect extra costs from the postponement to be material.
Around 25% of the company's revenue comes from events. As well as Money 20/20 Europe, held in Amsterdam, it has a Money 20/20 event in Las Vegas and the Cannes Lions festival. These last two will now be held in October this year.
The rest of Ascential's revenue is derived from digital subscriptions and advisory work.
Last week, at the same time as deferring the Cannes Lions advertising festival to October from June, Ascential put on hold its share buyback programme amid Covid-19 uncertainty.
Shares were 4.0% higher on Tuesday afternoon in London at 216.80 pence each.
