Applied Graphene Enters Into Joint Venture With Paralube Germany

Fri, 23rd Oct 2015 06:49

LONDON (Alliance News) - Applied Graphene Materials PLC Friday said it has entered into a joint development agreement with German lubricants and oils business Puralube Germany GmbH.

Applied Graphene, which produces specialty graphene materials, said Puralube will be shortly changing its name to Puraglobe.

Under the agreement, Applied Graphene will develop dispersions of its graphene nanoplatelets for inclusion in Puralube's sustainable base oil products and specialty technologies. It is anticipated that Puralube's graphene loaded base oils will then be used across a wide range of industrial and automotive applications.

Applied Graphene added that "the pace and momentum of commercial progress has continued to accelerate" and that it is engaged with a large number of customers over confidential projects. This includes a recent joint development agreement with a European specialty polymers and composites business in the aerospace, automotive and leisure industries.

Applied Graphene added that it will release its full-year results for the year ended July 31 on November 16.
