Sales picked up at upmarket cooker maker Aga over the key autumn sales period, though the weak housing market is a concern."We are encouraged by the performance of our brands - Rangemaster is having another successful year and we are pleased to see Aga volumes increasing," the firm said, though it added "tough housing market conditions dictate caution." Rangemaster sales are up up over 5%, boosted by add-on products. Aga volumes are up by around 5% this year, but Rayburn and Stanley volumes have so far declined further. Aga expects record stove volumes in Ireland in spite of the challenging economic conditions there, though sales in North America have slowed again this autumn after a better first half.Fired Earth's volumes are marginally ahead year-on-year but it is still operating at a loss.
