LONDON (Alliance News) - AEW UK REIT PLC on Thursday said it has raised a total of GBP17.2 million through a placing to back the acquisition of smaller commercial property assets in the UK, lower than it had been targeting.
The real estate investment trust said it has issued 17.0 million shares at 101.00 pence per share. AEW shares were down 0.1% to 100.50p Thursday.
The amount raised is significantly lower than the GBP30.3 million the company had initially targeted.
