Strat Aero Looks To The Future With Optimism On Subsidiaries' Success

Fri, 29th Jun 2018 12:20

LONDON (Alliance News) - Strat Aero PLC said Friday it looks to the future with "optimism" after both its subsidiaries Gyrometric Systems Ltd and Geocurve Ltd made "strong" progress.

The company said that Gyrometric has completed a "very successful trial" at the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult centre.

The main focus of the business is the commercial application of the company's monitoring technology to improve efficiency of wind turbines, the company said.

Strat Aero added that its principal subsidiary Geocurve is making "excellent progress" in the first phase of the multi-sensor surveying and data delivery as part of the Environment Agency's Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 programme.

"With the assistance of the University of Essex, Geocurve is currently developing innovative virtual reality 3D technology which is anticipated to enable it to offer considerably enhanced environmental and industrial applications to its markets," the company said.

Strat Aero shares were trading down 0.3% at 0.060 pence each.
