Baillie Gifford China Growth Trust PLC - aims for long-term capital growth by investing in Chinese companies - Says Jonathan Silver, who has been appointed non-executive director with effect September 1, buys 25,000 shares at GBP3.16 each, GBP79,000 in total. Transaction occurred on Thursday.

Adriatic Metals PLC - Vares silver project in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Raska zinc-silver project in Serbia - Chief Executive Officer Paul Cronin buys 100,000 shares on Australian Securities Exchange on Thursday for AUD194,775, GBP109,570, in total. Cronin's stake following purchase was not stated.

Berkeley Group Holdings PLC - Surrey-based housebuilder - Non-Executive Director Michael Dobson, appointed chair designate earlier in June, buys 4,000 Berkeley shares at GBP36.17 each, GBP144,680 in total. Dobson's stake following the purchase was not states. Dobson is to replace Glyn Barker as chair on September 6. Berkeley also says a party associated with Chief Executive Robert Perrins buys 50,000 shares at GBP36.95 each, GBP1.8 million in total. In addition, William and Jane Jackson buy 16,148 shares at GBP36.57 each, GBP590,566 in total. William Jackson is a non-executive director.
