accesso signs five-year contract for virtual queuing platform

(Alliance News) accesso Technology Group PLC on Wednesday said it has won a five-year contract for its virtual queuing technology.

accesso is a Berkshire, England-based provider of software for leisure, entertainment and cultural sectors.

It has signed a deal with global leisure park operator Parques Reunidos Servicios Centrales SA, with which it has an existing decade-long relationship. Madrid-based Parques will further extend its use of accesso's LoQueue virtual queueing platform to two further venues in North America, and four European theme parks.

The LoQueue platform offers an alternative to physical queues at theme parks and attractions. It responds in real-time to variables such as guest flow and operational changes, which gives venue operators the ability to optimise capacity and instantaneous communication with guests.

Shares in accesso were down 1.0% at 570.00 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
