LONDON (Alliance News) - 3i Infrastructure PLC on Thursday said its portfolio has continued to perform well and it has made progress on identifying new investment opportunities.
The infrastructure investor said its portfolio generated income of GBP21.8 million in the fourth quarter to the end of March, up from GBP18.6 million a year earlier.
In the quarter, 3i Infrastructure committed to invest GBP6.0 million in the Condorcet Campus primary public-private partnership project in France, it said. The company added its adviser has made good progress on developing its pipeline of investment opportunities.
"This has been a busy year for the company. In a highly competitive market, the company has completed a number of attractive investments across its target markets whilst maintaining investment discipline," said Richard Laing, 3i Infrastructure's chairman.
3i Infrastructure shares were up 0.5% to 173.70 pence.
