Crypto firm Silvergate Capital pummeled after disclosing run on deposits
(Sharecast News) - Shares of Silvergate Capital sold off after the provider of banking services to some of the best known names in the crypto industry said that a run on deposits during the last quarter of 2022 forced it to sell securities and related derivatives.

Silvergate to cut 40% of workforce as digital asset deposits tumble
