Morning fp & Mungo ( and shippy , if she's found us ? ) ..... Sun just breaking thru' and it's Bank Holiday Monday so just a very quick look in before heading out to the shops after clothes bargains ... NO not me the good lady !! .... I've been a naughty boy so will have to rely on the " mercy " of Admin come the morrow .... hence a quick post today !! I'm still trading the Dax and a lot more on the Ftse100 than i used to.Nicely Short off 7400 so see how that turns out .... probably should have closed out by now but with all the " 3rd world war " rhetoric let's see if we get any more drops before we're all " blown to the stars " ?? Mungo .... TRIN still treading water atm. i see & PMO look to be making a good attempt at a comeback .... rising daily rsi & hopefully another higher high soon around 70p etc.etc.etc. Been doing OK on Gold shorts just lately .... would have been easier had i just gone Long off the break of 1265 res. but hey ho who wants an easy ride in this game ... lol. Done extremely well on EZJ & got out of a very big DOM Long posn. at 312p for a break even trade only to see hem shoot up to around 325p ... bl**dy typical !! Still kept a few so not all lost .... My ITV up a bit and still looking for that elusive bid to actually materialise !! Still in CLLN , TALK & gone back into JRP at 123p .... Hope you're all doing well in your trades & in life generally ... GLA ..... must go now , the wife is salivating at the thought of all those bargains i'm going to have to buy for her .....lol ,

Good morning I finally found the you i like this hidden away in the back pages For some weird reason some of my charts have other large trades marked on with the size Profit and target ... If the TA corresponds i follow the trade with a high success rate on other sb accounts Not sure why it's not all of the shares I m following a trade on the ftse and a couple of commods so we shall see if it plays out Tescos dropped more than i expected so sold my short abit early It's tempting to sell my small ftse trade but I'm trying to prove a point to the trader upstairs that you don't need heaps of £s to make a good return trading from the weekly charts it's a lesson he needs to take note of .... Hope I can prove my point lol ( but it looks like it may go back up off this support ) Ships

Shippy .... Lol , i'll accept defeat on the weekly's when the Ftse100 hits your 6826 target and not before .To be honest tho' with this Election coming up and Trump versus N.Korea and the French Election turning left( i think) and Sell in may coming up fast , i think it may well get down to 6826 for you .. Ftse100 not usually my " thing " .... more the Dax , Dow & Gold for me with a spattering of equities thrown in for good measure!! So i wish you well with your Ftse100 Short ..... fp " swing trades " more than me so i expect when he calls in next he'll have a word ... This board not populated as much these days tho' .... GL ma'am .... xxxx

Hi Hott the trader i live with uses much larger trades it's quite stressful at times because the points can soon stack up ie £50 per point a lot of k involved ..... And a mood which swings with the market ..... Not always easy my partner trades also the DAX Anyway weird thing today SPX up 8.5 and the Dow down Not seen that happen much ...... If I have to ditch this ftse trade again il loose abit of ground on the home front I need it to brake down this support lets hope it dosnt consolidate and go back up :) Ship

Shippy...... according to the wizz kids at IG Index the must hold level is 7090 so that's the level you want it to break down below .... the Dow has broken down well below its support at 20515 and is now testing major support at 20438 which , should it fail to hold , will also bode well for your Ftse100 short !! Things on a bit of a knife edge atm. .... so stick in there , i may have closed my Short posn. far too early but it was at a lot higher £/pt. level than yours ... so my risk was a lot more , bit like your partner. GL .....xxx

Evening Hott, FP and welcome Ships, 2 traders under one roof..rather you than me. See Dow has gone into overdrive again never quite reached my low 2000's call from 28 Feb but had I trusted my instinct that would have been a 700 pip hall. 9-5 is curtailing trading, took a quick 10% on SOU, historic limit order from early March at 65, return to that support was always a given. TRIN treading water, PMO a tortuous costume drama and Star twinkling albeit dimly, last buy at 1.37 caught the very bottom so happy with that position, its a very long play that one bit like fp's Kefi, hanging out for 10p mid next year so ignore daily movements, nicely in profit and a nice gap at 2.5 is next target. Best to all Ms

Morning Hot, MS and of course shippy, apols for absence, cant believe its been so long.....so update...went long ASA on the big drop and had to take literally 50+ positions to get enough of them(tnx ig!!), b/e .98 and closed out lastweek at about 1.8....closed bp longs before drop, reasonable profit and now looking to see what happens after their trading results this week....long barcs(223 b/e) looking for 230 ish, long tescos (186 b/e)looking for mid to late 190's(morrisons and sainsbugs report this week)...loaded up on BNN 78.6p b/e as a sit and hold(owner actually lives in same village), kefi as previous......short dax, gaps 12070/12010, 11665, 11585 ish....frenchies could help with a surprise on sunday...short spx target 2350 gap.......the bit of fun £200 rollover is now at £720 in tescos(look for 30% profit on position and roll 20% back in, 10% as a buffer)...wishing everyone well s

Afternoon fp ..... good to hear from you . Good luck with those Dax Shorts ... IG have Dax & Dow bullish now but not so the Ftse100 , time will tell !! I'm Dax short 12528 from near yesterdays new all time high ... will hold that for now unless breached to the upside . I'm wary of the time of year now ( sell in may etc , french & british elections so lots to influence the markets one way or another ) Tesco took a bashing on Sainsbury's market report this morning !! GL sir & All .....
