Truly off-topic in Personal Finance terms, but I have witnessed the tremendous work put in by the lse.co.uk staff over the last week or so to re-launch the Premium Services section. If you click on the Live Prices tab, above, you will be transported to a screen with a graphic appertaining to Live Prices. Click on this and you will see the 3 Premium Services packages you can subscribe to. In the next day or two, you will be able to see instructional videos on the site showing click-by-click demonstrations of how to use the new facilities and, most importantly, how to get the most benefit from them. As with most choices like this, you get a reduction in cost by taking package 3, being a combination of packages 1 and 2. Live Prices A great improvement. Subscribing to this gains you access to Live Prices, not the standard 15-minute delayed variety. We have no limits to the number of users on the site at any one time, so you won’t get thrown off if great numbers of people are using Live Prices i.e. the poor unfortunate soul who is #101 when other sites might only cater for a maximum of 100 concurrent Live Prices users. As far as we know (and we stand to be corrected!), lse.co.uk is also the only site where Live Prices subscribers see live prices across the site, not just in one particular area i.e. your Portfolio page. For example, you can use the ‘Quick Picks’ facility to pin your favourite shares (and their prices) to the left-hand menu...these being live. Private Messaging Package 3 also includes the facility to communicate with other subscribers on a one-to-one basis. Lse.co.uk has had many, many requests for this (and live prices). Let’s hope those clamouring for this option subscribe to it! MyLSE A ‘dashboard’ facility, whereby you can view one screen with all the key information you need from lse.co.uk constantly updating before your very eyes. This can include Charts, Watchlist, Trades, Share Chat, and Notepad. As always, the lse team crave feedback...good, constructive, or indifferent! Please do not hesitate to e-mail the team at info@lse.co.uk This seems to me to be an opportunity for Members to subscribe to services they have requested and will derive real benefit from. Enjoy! Until next time...
