Agreed. The only way the company is viable is by flogging the assets. It appears they are asking £50 million for the UK assets but the real net asset value is likely around £35 million. The 'family office' are losing big time and would have done better to put their money elsewhere. If they have bought dalata they would have tripled their money and could buy the UK assets. European assets are a dogs dinner.

A tad harsh but I agree that there feels a disconnect between these numbers and the mid term ambition of doubling sites.

How exactly will they fund that, even with the sale of a freehold site or two.

I've long felt this is a Lipman vanity project and the management would take an offer for the company were it not for the core 'family office' investor stakes who have been in from floatation. I see net asset value has slipped 6% but an offer of 47p+ is the only way we will see an uplift in share price - otherwise it's a plodder.

Schlum, Elephant & C is leased already. This company is Larry Lipman's cash cow and it makes a mockery of institutional shareholders. All in at around 40p waiting 10 years to see a return that is still not there. The share price went up since they had to disclose the sale but there were minimal share transactions. No accounts, no transparency.

Freehold of the Elephant and Castle site is worth many millions. A leaseback deal would be positive indeed.
