Urban Logistics Share Price (SHED)

Speaking of the whole arrangement, any tax specialists here - how would you categorise this on your tax return? If capital gains, then how do you calculate the gain (e.g. the value of LMP shares you got per the offer, plus cash received less the cost of your SHED shares)? Seems this will force you to recognise capital gains even though the portion of consideration you are getting in LMP shares, which is not really realised gains?

Bit late I know but its fairly easy to work out. For each SHED share you will get 0.5612 of each LMP share valued at 191.5 which is 107.5 plus a cash sum of 42.8. You will also get the divi of 4.35 which values each share at 154.65. You will be able to do what you like with the cash and to keep or sell your LMP shares. Currently you will receive 152.4 for each SHED share.

I wonder if I would be better off selling my SHED shares now that the share price is going up or wait and see what happens? Can anyone shed a light on this decision?

The proposals are just ludicrous and typical of the greed of many of the players in the real estate sector.Shareholders are just there to be gouged.Board complicit,of course.Feeble non- execs.who cares a flying fig about the minutiae of how the payout works except those in the trough.As for institutional investors.Can you spot one with backbone? Whole business should be sold to a big house so shareholders can get proper value and avoid a load of cash going out to underperforming gravy- trainers.How many initial shareholders have made money out of this fund? Where is this in the blurb and puff?
