Britain’s stock market is shrinking at its fastest pace in history, a Wall Street bank has suggested, as the FTSE 100 hits a fresh record high.

Goldman Sach said the combination of company buybacks and a lack of new stock being issued would drastically reduce the supply of shares available to be purchased by investors.

However, this reduction in the size of the market’s public equity would also mean shareholder returns in the UK are “poised to reach an all-time high,” analysts said.

There's something not quite right about the two 22.2m sales a short while back.

Normally that volume would have engendered a tick-down, maybe to 0.115/12p but nothing, so can we conclude they were trades between two mm's?

They could have been "naked" shorts" but I doubt it, at sp's of this level most shorters don't bother.

Will be interesting to see what the rest of the day brings.

Also its 12 yrs old and a very cheap ,slow and basic car so im guessing the extra cost of pareta drive wasnt worth it to them on just a cost basis, a ev porsche at £120k would be a better bet .
