Interesting seeing comments on all sorts of shares I hold, but never on this. Steady growth in profits and dividends - obviously boring!

Japanese doji, candlestick on friday. Also lower, Bollinger band turned up, possibly signaling retracement. If sp, closes below doji, low of 3870, sell, with expectation of retrace, possibly to previous peak high of 3714. Re-enter equity, when either RSI(relative strength index), çrosses above 50, or bounces up from 50.

Interesting how there are never any comments on this share. Pretty impressive growth over a long period of time both in turnover and profits. Is this because it is not a speculative stock or considered boring by commentators?

In a normal environment you buy the index. Its a no brainer.

But when fundamental analysis goes out of the window and we see this classic human behaviour, it is time to buy individual shares with a view to hold for 10 years - forever.

To sell Cranswick would not be 1 decision. It would be 2. What do I buy if I sell? Getting 2 decisions right is not within most peoples ability (including professionals - not even they can outperform the index).

If Benjamin Graham were alive today and living in Britain (priced out of international markets due to a weak pound), i'm confident he would be buying Cranswick and ignoring all the sound (forever).
