Capita Share Price (CPI)

@gotnorolex - I think there is every chance of clearing 20p this week which is why I resisted the temptation to try and trade this again (sell at 20p and buy at 19.5p.or less) yesterday.

We've seen multiple attempts to break 20p and - if today had been an 'up day's for the FTSE I think we would have already broken away by now

Patience is key here and, having personally waited for nearly 3 years, I don't think we've got long left to wait.

We may well jump over the 20p tripwire this week!

Agree with your thoughts on this! However there have been so many twists and turns with Capita you are never quite sure what will happen!

Pat experience on others shares has taught me don't sell too soon!

I’m not sure the insti etc. holding of Capita is above 85% (the data on this is flawed) but even if that’s true I don’t think that precludes a bid whatever their current share price averages are.

Unlike PIs I suspect the big players are far less bothered at selling an individual investment at a loss if they feel they can earn better returns elsewhere.

That said I don’t think an organisation like Capita would be near the top of many shopping lists. Not because it isn’t a good prospect (I think it is) but it is such a complex beast that I’m not sure many would want to be troubled with running it.

Simplies if you are worried about a Buy-Out scenario remember Institutional/Fund/hedge Investors presently above 85%. The 2 biggest shareholders' presently share price average is well above today and probably will need to be above £1 even if they consider selling. They hold more than 25% between them so that probably stops any bid. The share price being kept low on the premise of a bid is probably not considered probable.
