Agree, when things get euphoric enough these problems should nicely melt away again, or at least be easier for market to forget about for a while.

As much as halving has cut revenue in the obvious way for miners, it works in our favour on the supply side too, just so little fresh btc coming onto market now. When demand increases again should bode well. I see Clsk and Cifr barely selling any in April, Riot pledging not to this year, seems like a trend.

Yeah because we've been watching everything so closely we tend to see all the issues - and there are many to be fair.

However if btc gets to 100k, then the $billion+ annualised projected revenues of the bigger players and bitcoin going to $1million rhetoric will kick in and we should get some fantasy valuations.

100 is the magic number for me as that in my eyes is peak attention from media/etc. I'll be looking to sell then - if it happens. Will sell some before then also just in case. No way do I want to hold another 4 years as I can't see many of the miners surviving a bear.

I was reading the other day a coal miner (Alliance Resource Partners) has decided to mine btc with its excess energy. The optics of this space really are a bag of sh*t 😜

Wow I'm not sure someone would want to buy the site if there's truth to mercury leaks. Miners don't make good neighbours it seems.

Yeah price action all over the place, I had reduced my position beforehand due to unsettling price movements, and then dumped the remainder on the ATM news in the high 2's for a ~40% hit. Then it shot up again to $4 of course - although suspect from this news it's going to head back down. Won't touch it any further.

Tentatively I think BTC might run up again, and if it goes to 80 I'll probably re-balance again (but not SDIG).

Me too, took a bath on it to be honest. For me it was after court case, never quite sure how legitimate these suits are in a country where everyone is suing everyone, but coupled with pretty relentless selling figured it couldn't be good.
