Problem in UK today is re getting a foot on the ladder is that the bottom rungs have either been sawn off
or they are blocked by a huge hoard of incomers all clinging to the bottom rung
Starter accommodation for people aged 21 straight out of uni is becoming increasingly hard to obtain
Roads are over crowded
Firms are hamstrung by recruitment quotas and political correct policies.
Its all a dark mess.

WGR - It's people lives to me (it's never just electronic digits, it's emotions, feelings, what people can afford on a daily basis). If anyone thinks it's just electronic digits they should be fired rightaway - that's the message the CEO ought to be sending.

If you vote for me as CEO I promise I will fire any staff member who doesn't get that it's people's lives which their money management ought to be trying to improve (it is not just numbers on a screen). They should be using their financial firepower to rejuvenate the high street, open more shops, increase energy production, and lower food prices (as well as providing healthier foods such as a greater variety of fruit and veg).

I wonder whether Mark Carney ever eats M&S food. I hope he doesn't as otherwise he is only adding hypocrisy on top of hypocrisy. His policies have directly led to the decimation of the M&S share price - he should fess up about whether he likes their food or not?

What's the point of politicians promising to spend more on the NHS/Police when millions of people in the UK can't afford to heat their homes - some working people can't even afford a tumble drier (which is pretty essential in winter if not in summer).

These are the craziest times I have ever known. Technological advance means the vast majority (those without serious mental health issues) should all be living a very comfortable lifestyle - what on Earth are Central Bankers doing - they manipulate prices up and down and don't actually achieve much progress towards increasing energy supply and lowering food prices, as well as increasing the number of shops (personally I don't want superfast broadband as I prefer shopping in person rather than online as going into a physical shop is a far more fun and interesting experience).
