And for sure we know that Joel Silberstein's calculator often goes on the blink!
>>the alluvials are a total mess - the numbers do not tie up - Certainly he was right in that
Your post reminded me of the comms I had with JN over that:
Dear Dr. ##, before I left I had fired both the CFO, Joel Silberstein for poor financial control and the COO, Eduard Victor for poor performance at Chepica - the Board supported both but Colin overturned my decision to fire them and hence I left - with these henchmen in place there will be no transparency - they both need to be fired and Colin must step down - The company needs a new CEO who can take Manica the hard rock project forward - it has BFS completed on it - the current team does not have the technical capability to do it and Colin does not have market support to raise project build capital - the alluvials are a total mess - the numbers do not tie up - same issue as with Chepica, alluvial production is not there - again same COO as at Chepica - The hard rock gold is where the real cash is but you need a new team!
i was joey, iirc don't we still have a load of yellow plant still over there but nobody dared to go and get it ?
that was all wine and roses until a few cracks started to appear (literally) then two guys got killed and very soon after that we woke up to tghe news that nelson had resigned and xtr was no longer working at chepica, that little jaunt lost me 95 % of my investment. and people take the **** when i express concerns about the silence, i've seen it all before but i genuinely believed cb this time, he couldn't fool me twice could he ?
The rainy season is not now.in manica
It is mainly from Mid dec to end of Feb. We do have excellent weather conditions now and until end nov for production purposes.
I'm hoping by end q3 we will be in full production (whatever that figure is)
It's all academic really due to the fact the AGM has been kicked up the road to who knows when.
Ma, i shall be incognito on the stairwell , i'll be the one laughing whilst colin is getting a proper roasting ! lmao x
Apologies Ma, didn’t read anything into your comment, just banter, I would never intentionally hurt another’s feelings.
With crap grammar et al , lol
You can't beat a lightly handled cannelloni , hahaha
Mere putty
She used me and played me into her hands ???????? lmfao
You used gord as he played into your hands! and you ask for it to be put to bed ! That is an exercise in futility 😂 but ok consider forgotten
On subject of reducing CapEx it could also benefit all, at valuation where it would be based on NPV model. On a sale like this there would generally be a further discount to the acquirer of the cost to build the mine. Colin quoted is roughly round the 20% mark, so would surmise that discount would reflect lower plant and associated costs.
Are you kidding ?
This is just getting interesting !!
Lol !
Ma >>>Thought DTM meant they needed to fund 100% of capex as Colin said NO to JV.
A junior would never be able to get full project funding on this scale.
Worth remembering that the objective is to trigger the buy back, so as long as it shows there is a reasonable business case to be profitable beyond initial CapEx recovery. It may not necessarily have to show ‘wow’ desirability up to that point.
They may only need to achieve an outcome with the minimum necessary outlay and work to trigger and get a yes or no from AA to open the project up to the global market where further work can be tailored to improve desirability.
Sounds like a tinder date that ended badly ! 😬
Soz Ma the mind boggles
Good to see the copper price back on the move northwards:

Based on the lack of updates from Bird I fear we have a long way to go before the dog, sorry Tier 1 asset, that is BR will be viable....
I think it was back in mid April Bird stated the concentration studies were near completion, obviously it will take time to compile but @9 weeks from that statement now I would assume it was not such a +ve result.
I assume we will get some +ve news out of Manica before the AGM - Income and what the next plans are in terms of extending the life of that mine.
Possibly news on Kakuyu, or whatever it's called - I recall int he same interview Bird started it was already producing a little but they wanted to get a plant in there?!
Ps, WINK .....;))))))))
"started posting on here for a reason i'd rather not disclose" ...... LMFAO
Dani... we've had our differences on here but I hope something can happen to make us both glad we have held and added.
Dani... when you say longtermer, when did you first invest in XTR ?
Bingo Dani
Xtract would potentially need to show a funding capability of their 20% interest one would assume. The buy back agreement is fairly simplistic and vague though.
If Bulk ore sorting is amenable and can have significant effect on increasing head grade to mill. Whereby lowering plant capacities requiring smaller plant reducing Cap outlay. It would attribute greatly toward lowering reliance on a 3rd party funding partner or reduce amount of getting a debt facility in place. ( not clued up on financing btw )
If any one has a better understanding please offer.
Dani... thanks for reply. Did the chairman's guidance contribute to your understanding at all ?
Dani you must have missed my question to you...
Where would you say the main source of knowledge regarding your XTR investment is ?
Timeline based on the fact that Colin stated AA would want to see hard numbers and that we will head toward a pre-feasibility study.
More logical reasoning to support what he said is highlighted in the Conceptual study RNS
>>Shareholders should note that the Conceptual Study is preliminary in nature and includes inferred mineral resources that are considered too speculative geologically to have the economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorised as mineral reserves. The Conceptual Study is based on low-level technical and economic assessments and is insufficient to support estimation of Ore Reserves or to provide assurance of an economic development case at this stage, or to provide certainty that the conclusions of the Conceptual Study will be realised.
Further to this, is that at present there is only 50mt of the resource classified as indicated.
Only indicated and measured resources can be converted to mineral reserves that can only be used as inputs to support a PFS that will support funding.
Although CB has said that the funds do not need to be in place for AA, they want to see we are heading toward financing.
It may well be that a scoping study may come next after the awaited conceptual study but I believe the technical and geo inputs are similar.
Needed to be said,
So, at a guess 12-18 months from continuation of next exploration/optimisation phase.
4-6million gbp unless the project is dead in the water ( just for balance)
