Does anyone understand the Peter Jones RNS from this morning?
Sorry that's what I meant
Jones IS obliged to make an offer, minimum 0.525p/share for all shares he doesn't already control. That notification was in the Jan 15th RNS. But my understanding is that shareholders are not obliged to accept it even if the board recommends it....... I guess you meant that PJ is not obliged to offer more.
If the offer is not accepted or he is not going to offer why not release an RNS instead of dragging it out to the bitter end. Wednesday is D day then.
There's not been an offer yet Peter has until 12 feb to make an offer There's no obligation for him to either He may or may not IMO
Why there are so many sell. . I think everyone is getting idea that the board is accepting offer
They should combine Dragon's Den with Four Rooms. Take the dragons and put them in the rooms. Just leave them there and we can watch something else.
Me too! Had enough of it. The formats tired .
the board have a deadline of 12th feb,to accept the offer 0.525 per share or reject it, looks like a game for PJ and them, btw, Im still boycotting dragons den.
There must be a reason why this is dragging on for so long, they delayed the results RNS because they new this was on the cards, so if they have known about it why drag it out. What scheming is PJ up to?
Depends if you call defamation a rule
It seems so. Why? Did it contravene some rule?
No news! It's due by 12 Feb!!
Any news on that offer ? .. ... I am getting frustrated now
I assume the Bob Wigley post got deleted then?
Your birthday is the same as Deborah Meadon. Anyway, I wonder if XPS will give us anything to celebrate this year.......
And mine is 11th!!
Co-incidentally, that's my birthday.

I spoke to a chap at the broker can't recall his name right now but was quite helpful
Not too far By the way did you speak to that women which is normally listed on each RNS.. I spoke to N+1 last time and they were unable to confirm anything............................
He has a deadline of 12 feb according to the broker
Guys any news on when this takeover is supposed to finish.. I am sick of waiting for Peter to make an offer... Either make an offer or go away ? Any comments ?
seems to confirm the buys at 12:35 and 14:50 on 28th Jan for 0.5625p. Not sure about the 0.56p buy at 14.49 the same day.
I wondered about that (paranoia again), but I couldn't find any obvious link or previous dealings between the MedDeb directors and Peter Jones. And what about Mr Gary Harold Stephen Montgomery? He declared he owns 2.39% last Friday. http://www.iii.co.uk/investment/detail/?display=news&code=cotn:XPS.L&action=article&articleid=9238737
