not remotely helpful
but i guess it's a free BB...often to its detriment
is SEETHING
don't get bullish on my now yrabs!!!!
10m volume today so far … funny how the parrot was dead on volume between beginning of July and mid August… and volume and sp since has shot up… question is… why?. I didn’t see the H1 report proving the corner was turned… maybe just maybe 4p becomes the new base… it was before the two delayed mscs were ever mentioned…cash still a concern though….B
Max 19 why some here lack patience and talking about speeding ticket when the sp is moving up to its norm and being rerated...mcap 8 million when it should be 40 million. Liz Truss talking about bringing the country back to its feet, hope Wsg follow's suit..and long termer recover their value.
We have more than the just usual 1 UT at the end of trading day since Monday, and it's on the up every time whatever reason for it.....
Something is brewing ,hopefully not a placing (not at this price anyway....)
Yrabs true, we have to follow the trend and the demand for security products..though sometime ago was buying wsg at 8p..
Congrats to all those who bought at 1p. A lovely rise for you all. Cheeky request, could you possibly keep buying and push it up to 15p? After all, this is AIM :)
They going to have to put out any news soon or they’ll have to issue a speeding ticket with this rise.
yrabs: yes, that timing turned out to be pretty spot on....better to be lucky than good
mazik.... it is also worth noting that Avon announced a £15M contract award today along with their TU.... Scale is very different as Pete has taken to trumpeting £300K contracts these days as material....... B
Aiming... yep I saw the weird UT last night and how it has skewed todays rise..... seems like your cheeky top up [average down] around a penny has gone some way to dampen the long term pain..... B
Avon protection market cap £280M whilst we are just £8 million..though we have different products on offer relating to security...Wsg well oversold hence being rerated.
Lol
To be honest I’ve done well trading Wsg over the last 14 years ,I bought back in at between 1.1 and 1.2 and I’m holding for a few months .We’ve had some bad luck like many other companies over the last few years ,future looks positive ,market seems to like it so that’s all that matters really .
Blimey, this is going faster than I thought....:)
I said 2p by the weekend and it's already above on Wednesday.....:)
MC is still relatively very low if you have faith at the potential, HOWEVER, if you worried about the below 1p up and coming placing, then sell and run for the hills.....:)
Your money, your choice.
yrabs: there was a weird thing last night where the price dropped on close and then jumped back up on open...so it's not up 31% at all. but it is up nonetheless.
This sums it up...security for business, Orders in uk and around the Globe.
Yrabs, I don't believe we are seeing a pump and dump. I think last years drip drip selling resulted in a significant under valuation and now we are seeing a correction probably back to 4p or thereabouts. Looks like people are choosing to hold or buy so at least we can say some confidence has returned for now.
thanks Aiming, good to hear your half full assessment..... SP still going upwards, so lets all hope this isnt a Pete scheme to raise higher off the back of it.... I think there was much reason for the fall to a penny..... but perhaps... just perhaps.... petes pivot point has arrived..... showing 32% up on google..... makes one proud to be Petes number one fan [Misery fan]......B
yrabs: i can see what you mean about there not seeming to be a reason for the rise. but i'd argue that there wasn't much of a reason for the fall over the past 6 months. Many here would argue that reason was a lack of delivery and the impending capital raise....but that raise hasn't come. of course it will, this is AIM, but i don't think that will be before more material contract news. i don't think they need a keep-the-lights-on raise currently....and i've been right about that for over a year....only time will tell.
management are still claiming that they will be profitable this year, if they are (big IF) then this is still a steal.
i totally get the lack of belief by the long term holders (i've been here over a decade), but i can see the potential upside for some is huge, so maybe that's just why there's been a rise. people are odd, the more a stock price goes up, the more they want to buy it.
Furthermore, if WSG wins just 1% of the mooted 650,000 businesses likely to be affected by the new ‘Duty Protect’ legislation, and if each contract is worth an average of, say, £20K ( not the nice round £100K currently announced) then that’s £130 Million revenue.
On very conservative numbers.
So to say the rise here is ‘unfounded’, seems somewhat illogical?
Ignore the winging here and look at the facts.
WSG would be seriously valuable had Trump not ripped up JCPOA, we had signed a 24M Euro per annum deal with Iran at that point.
Then we had a Global Pandemic that, strangely enough, this affected air travel, and our connected security business, as well as shutting down the Global economy.
Yes, the share price was decimated due to the above.
However, WSG has survived, and is winning contracts again, and even as I type, a buyer has purchased 499,600 shares for 2p.
So, expect further upward momentum, harsh as many of you here seem to feel about that.
Get over your bitterness, take off your 10 year old blinkers and see what potential there is from this low value.
Ps. I’ve been in & out since 2016 so I do know a few things, and yes, the ferry foray best not discussed.
bilge.... we all like the rise.... my dead parrot is now worth twice as much as last week so that is good.. and we all like the fact that the parrot [called Lazarus by the way] has given us something back.... what some of us are worried about is the fact there is no real reason for the rise. The last update was not very good and we only had income of less than £4M over 6 months.... Pete did his usual of saying all the buses will turn up in H2... like he did last year.... and them buses didnt turn up last year... so why do we think it will be different ... I fear a pump and dump.... as do many on here.... this is proving another great time for pesky traders...... wsg always gives to them......B
yeah like "dead parrot pig in stockings and lipstick" I suppose? Check yourself.
