They've literally given the initial revenue figure for the first year and standard MSC margins for every results is over 60%
Good to see the old names, sad about Mosbowgo. I actually met up with him (lived near me in Manchester) to share our WSG experiences....they were not good then either. 3.5p needs to go up a heck of a lot higher to convince me that Fowler is being fully forthcoming. He only ever tells you the good bits.....the jam tomorrow. It'swhat he doesn't say that is the worry...Tema comes to mind.....WSG were paid a paltry amount per container which was probably the only reason WSG got the contract in the first place. They stepped in at the last minute!!! Can't accuse PF of rushing things this time, but I would like to see a few figures. NO. I will not be adding. But wish you brave souls all the best.
Nice to see some old names coming up . All I need to see now is Toshlines and that would make my day . ☺️
Should have said ClemcoMike was old username SFU called me Mikey
That’s a real shame about Phil (Mosbowgo) if he has passed away. Lovely chap. Hopefully he is still around and will come back on here and surprise us.
The thing here will be traders will exit and investors will replace them.
Its as simple as that. lock away and its a winner for sure
Blimey… a few of the old gang on here. Sorry to hear about Mos. Like SFU I’m not adding any more as fingers Brent for too long but still have most of my original holding from pre retirement days. Hope many of the oldies have averaged down to a level whereby they’re not too far under water. :-)
....interesting those comments by PF,..... he mentions 'Ports' also...----- WSG had announced potential MSC's, via RNS's... back in 2021,.. so similar time line with DRC...... which includes a 10yr Port contract,.... Liberia.--- I believe this was delayed/deferred due to a land acquisition/dispute issue....
... maybe this has been resolved..

Trading Statement
Westminster, the specialist security and services group, notes recent press speculation with regards to a potential airport contract in the Central African Republic, and also provides the following trading statement.
Central African Republic (CAR)
In the normal course of business, we do not comment on contracts until they have been signed. However, the Company confirms that it is in discussions relating to a managed services contract, although there is no certainty as to whether these will result in a contract or to the timing thereof.
Further announcements will be made in due course, as required."

Im a large holder so today was a good day despite any SP moves.
Obviously id have loved it to go to 10p but the fact it can now start to be valued on future and real cash flows is a huge comfort.
This deal alone will be coming at at about 14p/share on a PE of 10 for the first year but with grow considerably. When they get off the EU blacklist and when the new airport is completed, passenger numbers will rise significantly. I am also aware the line dropped about cargo screening is mega and could be worth more than the passenger screen part of the contract. So all in all this is fantastic and underpins a much higher SP which will happen in time.
Fowler has stated many times they will not use equity for this contract and there is no reason to doubt him now after 3 years without a placement, when that is confirmed with UKEF funding etc it is an additional green light for SP rise.
Now that this deal is done, it adds credence to the other MSCs that are apparently in the offing. Add another of a similar size and you can see immediately how the initial company target of 26p will be met.
This is a fantastic day, i see absolutely no reason to sell just at the beginning of the rise and new dawn for the company. This is going to be one of the big success stories on AIM in the coming years.
There is a number of these Francophile UK trade missions to African countries over the next few months.
All eyes on Guinea at the end of the month or Togo in June...
It's incredible and a huge insight into the mental health of folk like aiminghigh2021 when they just keep moving to the next supposed "deramp" and ignore all positive news or any official RNSes. It would make a brilliant netflix documentary
Anyway, zero chance of a placement for this deal as stated many times by CEO
"I am pleased to report we have made significant strides forward with several of the large-scale, long-term managed services airports and ports opportunities, each of which would, when secured, provide multi-million-pound step changes in annual revenues.
In our 2022 Annual Report published in June 2023 we stated we could potentially secure one or maybe two new large-scale manage services contracts in 2023. The outcome and timing of these complex projects are never certain, particularly in a challenging world environment, however, whilst we did not manage to finalise contracts in 2023, we have made important progress and from current activity and discussions underway we do expect secure these and potentially other such contracts in 2024."

Do you understand what “debt capital” means?
Nice to see a few old traders on here today ,sad to hear about mosbow ,remember him from way back .
There is no placing like you said fowler would never get this signed ,still it’s light hearted comedy from you .
Initial funding for the project will be from Westminster's own resources with several options under consideration focussed on project-based debt capital.
