Phone HL they will do it
does anyone have an srn or pin for the virtual meeting, my proxy form never came as i am with HL who do it electronically
I'm expecting a release of the figures at 10:30 as the meeting starts.
No point buying at £2.67 as you have your dealing charges and stamp duty to pay. Only worth it for the big institutional investors who will arbitrage it.
Anyone considered buying at 2.67 to sell at 2.72 assuming the vote goes through? 5p is 5p.........
before 12 i would imagine
Does anyone know the time we find out the result of the vote ? Presume today after the agm
I agree.
I think it’s undervalued but when you bought at 62p you can’t grumble too much at £2.72.
I can’t stand Fred Done so it makes me annoyed if he’s getting a bigger slice of the action. Gives it the big one on his TV channel about Fred’s pushes and being fearless. I’d like him to explain why his mobile app limited me to £2 or less on horse racing selections after a period of time. Probably as I wasn’t losing money or playing the mindless casino games with a house edge………..anyway got that off my chest and the stocks are roaring all over the place so happy days. Even VOD managed a decent rise this week.
So we will know tomorrow, amazed if the green light is given, but i will be happy either way. Would like more, But profit is profit.

The news comes ahead of a planned shareholder meeting in London on Thursday, November 19, with all shareholders expected to green-light the deal and allow Caesars to carry on with the bid
Assume we find out today....interesting to see first out of hours trade as an increase in a long position...fingers crossed!
Spider I hold wmh in my sipp with aj bell and they sent me a corporate action notification to vote. I also hold them in my isa with Halifax and for them I had to contact them (using the online chat function which was easy) to ask about it and they took my voting instruction online and logged it.
If you haven’t heard from your provider via corporate action notification I suggest you might have to get in touch to log your vote.
when is the vote and how do we participate?
RTPC, agreed very confusing, but there is no way that people will be left in limbo for that long. Been at work all day there is a telephone to phone to ask questions about the process, may try it tomorrow but again working all day tomorrow.
I take it that we will know the answer tomorrow?
Iam so confused by this all , my head and logic tells me it’s got to b a no deal , but then I read a lot of post and then my thinking changes , deal no deal , I can’t make up my mind iam glad it’s nearly done now ,which either way I just want to no
I hope you're right! fingers crossed.
Pretty confident this will be rejected. It grossly undervalues WMH and most shareholders can see that. They need 75% approval for the deal to go through don't forget. Done only owns 6%, he's not the big whale he's trying to make out.
I hope that's the case but don't think it is. The scheme doc (pg 12) says payment would be made within 14 days of the 'Effective Date'.
The 'Effective Date' is the 'Scheme Court Hearing' date +2 business days.
The 'Scheme Court Hearing' date the hearing at which the Court sanctions the Scheme under section 899 of the Companies Act. This is not the same as the 'Court Meeting', which is on 19th November.
It's all pretty confusing but from what I've read in the press shareholders would not expect to receive funds until H2 next year.
Thanks
Should be 19th Nov.
When is the court date? Looks to be unknown at this point.
Just over 2 weeks from the court date! See that page that page 12.

If done deal at 272 when do we get paid out?
You can just imagine the Caesars board members “Those stupid brits, didn’t we do well screwing them over”. Anyway selling most of my holding on 18th probably just keep 1000 shares, however may sell all and move on. I’ve also put a lot into insurance Directline, got in on the 27th at 272.95 (what’s the chances of that).
