should we be looking for a relisting on the Athens stock exchange??
I dont know the details.....but there is a plan to restucture...
I think that the monies to settle Steven Pearson were not cleared funds...so a weeks grace was given to allow clearance.
Do you know the reason for the deferral? Is it something to do with the case (and if so, what was the reason) or is it because there were so many cases listed for today?
Not enough rotten veggies?
I think the hearing has been deferred by one week.
Worldlink have been completely removed from the Sunderland FC website http://www.safc.com/ if you look at the list of partners on the foot of the page. It used to say powered by Worldlink and now it is just Betbutler. Worldlink have obviously no sports rights left apart from Ramsgate FC - so much for the high profile press releases about Premier League teams. Cant believe that Chairmen like Al Fayed are going to let this go lightly..
Whereever the patents have been transferred to protect them from the recent ITS winding up will not be protected from any official receiver investigation should the PLC be wound up.
(previously rumoured to be valued @$80m-$100m) some say it's been transferred, to which company and will the various legal companies, allegedly creditors, look to reverse the transaction?
This is looking like it's all over bar the shouting, vultures and grave diggers.
All league deals have now been taken on by Betbutler directly with the clubs. Betbutler have officially and publicly distant themselves from Worldlink and all that goes with them.
All gone? What do you mean?
Based on the fact Worldlink liquidated ITS owing at least 4 law firms several hundred thousand pounds (one of them over 500k) its very unlikely any law firm would want to represent Worldlink without fees upfront. I am sure their legal team quit on them which is why they had to represent themselves. Not odd, just no other option.
All gone!
On the Football side of things and funding? I only tend to hear about patent things.
another few weeks isnt gonna do us over anymore than the last several months lol
We've been saying another few weeks since about February for various reasons! The end of the month Winding Up Petition at the High Court will probably supersede everything else though. It is next week.
ink lol another few weeks and we`ll be a lot lot clearer as to whats going on then either way !!!
Interim Hearing but with a very important outcome. City Index pushed for a Security of Costs order on the basis there was strong evidence to suggest Worldlink could not pay its costs in the event City Index won the case. This is often quite hard to get if you are counter claiming as City Index are. Worldlink argued against it of course. Although Courts do not always look at the merits of the case (unless the Claimants argument is very strong), it is generally accepted that the weaker the probability of the Claimant prevailing, the higher the security order. The Interim Hearing reviewed the arguments and counter arguments from City Index and Worldlink (who represented themselves with no legal representation at all.....very odd). The Hearing rather emphatically decided to agree to the City Index Security of Costs order. Worldlink are now required to disposit a large sum of money in cash within three weeks of the hearing or the case is dismissed. The Security amount is large. Several hundred thousands of pounds, in cash, in just over 2 weeks.
ink
yes any idea on the ruling? i would have thought kind of hearings lasted a day and not weeks like a murder trial?
I've asked a Solicitor friend who can find out for us and waiting for her to call back.
any idea what happened or what was said???

I have been saying that for some time now. I'm afraid it's like a bug that is incurable until it eventually kills you.
