on the 01/11/2012 - if we have not heard anything whether it be positve or negative i will write this off as a total loss and not waste any more of my time waiting..
I agree totally and this is what has kept me awake at night for quite some time now. I will remain positive for a little longer. M4. Awaiting call back.
i get waht you are saying regarding previous statements and not to expect anything again. but what i can get my head round is that they could have ended this a long time ago and told us no value for share holders... why drag it out with all these updates, they must be fighting hard to save the company for what reason i do not know??? must be some substance from the last statement
whats the swiss broker say??? 7 days left for the relist!
What anyone is investing for though.... Can't see what Worldlink has now that's of any value or that will generate any real revenue...? However, I am hoping as much as any other current investor here. What are the chances of us not hearing anything prior to the end of October? I have no confidence after the last few released statements.
u never know u just never know lololol
funding deal signed - just waiting for the telegraphic transfer ching ching - well thats what i hope for
i think we are all just waiting for the inevitable lol
There is a strange silence.....what is happening ?
cityboyz
The news story suggests Betbutler have now distanced themselves totally from Worldlink (technically and financially) which contradicts elements of the RNS Worldlink released last week. isportconnect have definitely removed Worldlink banners, Sunderland match today on Sky Sports had Betbutler without Worldlink also, neither did Fulham yesterday. Didn't expect it to unravel so quickly is what i meant, especially with comments coming directly from betbutler for the first time about status of the relationship with Worldlink. (strains of Celine Dion My Heart will go on playing in the background)
Any chance of expanding on what u said mate?(didnt expect this) positive or negative? Thanks in advance buddy.
Didn't expect this http://calvinayre.com/2012/10/19/business/bet-butler-not-owned-by-worldlink/
Questionable given the timing of the transaction and its proximity to the voluntary liquidation but I suspect that there is insufficient commercial justification for creditors to chase it down and reverse the decision given the legal cost involved. Questions have been asked however. If the overrall company goes into a Winding Up process, I would think the Insolvency Service may look into this in detail especially with some prompting in the right areas (which many people seem to be wishing to do). It is not easy to release major QC opinions and substantial valuations to attract investors but within a few months claim they are worth just £1 yet simulanteously put significant effort to moving the alleged valueless patents out of the reach of creditors and keeping them for the rest of the company. It is simply not credible. Whether it is legal or not will come out in time.
legal?
The patents were transferred to two dormant Worldlink subsidiaries just before the voluntary liquidation of ITS.
wonder is the patent has been protected and passed on to bet butler???
"unique technology"?
18 October 2012 Bookmaker Bet Butler has signed a two-year deal to become the official betting and gaming provider of The Football League. The sponsorship agreement will see a share of the money bet on Football League matches go towards participating clubs, which means over 80 teams will benefit when a fan places a bet. Bet Butler offers fans the best available odds from more than 60 different bookmakers. Football League chief commercial officer Richard Heaselgrave said: "This is a really innovative partnership that delivers a fantastic win-win situation for supporters. They will get the best odds in the marketplace and their club will benefit directly from their betting activity." Chris Bell, chairman of Bet Butler, added: "I am delighted by this deal that benefits both football league clubs and supporters. It is a marvellous endorsement of our unique technology which will offer the fans the best available price, but also deliver an important revenue stream for their club.”
If the money exists and is not just spin, then somebody is mad ! I am not sure that it is legal taking money from the insane, but that will not stop WL. We await the accounts with interested. Let see if there has been any revenues generated in this period form the mobile business, that would make a really nice change . No doubt plenty of costs, salaries and expenses for the inept management. (lets not forget legal costs)-What a mess. The only advice I can tender is never reinforce defeat . We should cut our losses and move on , this company was always a big big punt after all. DV
well i guess if they can get funding by end october then they will be able to pay off creditors and avoid the winding up petition
1 nail out of the coffin.....
Isn't there a small matter of a Winding Up Petition against the company - hearing on 29th October to be dealt with first?
can we have the experts on this bb`s opinion please on this latest rns!!!! thanks in advance xx
