I agree it will be sold this time although I think still it'll be no more than 230.
Big shareholders have had enough. I don't think board has there support any longer.
All IMHO DYOR
Happy
£2.40 bid will be put forward by next week testing wg waters .
Why wouldnt you put a couple of cheeky offers in first hand.
The only question is whether this will smoke out other potential bidders. I don't think the current interested party are serious, it is a cheeky offer but it could make other more serious companys believe that WG could be bought for a reasonable price...assuming anyone is really interested of course.
The buyer will probably now walk away
They will come back with another offer 2.2 by Monday I am sure, Wood will say no comparing last year and that will be the Final Offer. This is going to be Final one and Sadura will walk away. They aint seem a company eager to spend hell of Money
Doubt it but I would be blindly buying at that level.
That would be pretty cool
120p tomorrow
Absolutely love a trim and add opportunity. Have got my average down to £1.07. Looking forward to further opps to add here at improved price. WG are looking wounded and in need of a serious buyer. Might happen in the months to come.
GLA and AIMHO
@Dark
This is a great money spinner will readd my £2+ sells when the time is right. Probably the day Sidura formally walks away.
Whoever is advising Sidura needs to understand how these things work…coming back some 7p higher is madness and reflects they are not serious buyers.
WG rejected 240 a year back and here we are a year down the recovery road with the the company in much better shape so how on earth do they expect the board to engage- if they were genuine a250 shot would definitely get WG boards attention and a sensible negotiation phase would be implemented to lead to a satisfactory conclusion.
WG days of independence are clearly numbered so if these bids fall apart then I’ll just buy more on the dip
I am tired holding that long….
Took them a week to look behind the sofa and rustle up another 7p/share. F*ckers caught me offguard whilst on a conference call. Out with 20% profit - good enough for me.
GLA.
Mary WG. rejected the other offer and I think that was higher the ones last year I think. Looks like they are looking for 260-300p maybe ? I am just suprised no one has decided to buy PFC lol
Goodness and no one saw that coming at all. Still in many ways a good thing apart from the SP.
Sidura needs to up their game. I guess tomorrow we see an RNS from them saying No longer interested.
They were never serious so we are left with the Board to turnit all around again. 160p 140p 120p who knows?
£3 and it is over.
Trim and add trim and add.
I feel like this company will never be sold, but we need to wait about her a year or two
The issue here is that we'll only hear after the next bid is rejected, by which time Wood will be in auction and open back down at c.160p or lower. Sidara first made an offer on 30th April, and we were only told about it on the 8th May when it was rejected. They need to publish the next offer as soon as it lands.
Happy if they only offer £2.30 surely a straight rejection and the SP tanks again - groundhog.
I fancy action soon on IOM been steadily building position since recent update-very oversold and HUGE volume today and 2nd time in 2 weeks now… think approach on the cards
Don’t think board will entertain at that level , it’s easily worth £3 but don’t think they’ll achieve that-been a good trade and I’ll be happy @ 250…
New bid 230 but will be best and final from Sidara.
All IMHO DYOR
Happy
Follow the price movements.
All strictly IMHO DYOR
Happy
Last year’s experience killed me a bit thinking I should have sold them by 2.2
Buyers, presumably you are looking for a profit and if that is so hold because a higher bid is inevitable in the short term imv and recovery likely if it is not bought imho.dyor.
Awesome, let's get Apollo back in the mix to scrap it out with Sidara. Who's hungriest?!
