This would sky rocket if any good news
£8k sell dropped us today
We need some good news swiftly.
15% Down on 3 grands with of trades ...really
How have we just lost 15% ?
That's a tidy buy on the quiet and on a dreary wet Monday morning
Waiting a while for update hopefully monday
There is no way he would sell out for 3p when he could of sold out for 8p 4 years ago. Now more and more states are legalising betting it has to improve our position. This share was trading at 4 plus pence 2 years ago, and we didn’t all sell out then.
Sit tight, hold your nerve and you will be rewarded. Alternatively, chase another stock and possibly miss the boat.
Your call
* Entain's £122 million acquisition today of US based Angstrom Sports highlights yet again that sports betting in the USA is becoming a huge focus for the major players.
* The value of our licences is going to be key here, especially in California.
* With a current MCAP of just £6.5 million WEB is looking an amazing buying opportunity.
* 6p a share this year is likely, given its previous track record but ....
* Don't rule out a x10 to 16p a share as a real possibility.
* It's also interesting to note what our Chairman has been saying over the last 2 years via RNS re a takeover / M&A activity: "As a result, the company has had no shortage of informal offers from other interested parties in the space, specifically in the areas of software deals, strategic alliances and, at the operating company level only, mergers and even acquisition".
Consequently, I expect the WEB share price to go much much higher soon....
Good luck, Brighty
Pretty sure Denham Ekes company owns 63% of Webis. Do you really think he’ll sell out for 3p a share?? I doubt it. Maybe 13p.
Take my money and small profit at 3p,leave the rest for a free ride as long as it takes depending on news.....not sure how long it will take to trigger my first target, but hopefully soon enough.....
GLA.
I dont know where we are. I sold out at 2.1 on the last results when we had a rally. Back in now at average of 1.45p. No idea where next. Gambling companies are really struggling at this time and new legislation will hurt. Online companies need regulating. Web has a lot of potential assets for a low cap so worth a punt and a take over at 3p plus is possible
Under 2p the shares are stonking value over 2p you have missed the boat I think a predator will act much sooner rather than later they are getting a very low ball park opening offer due to share price they would be getting a fully operational website watch and wager a very valuable bricks and mortar racing licence in Sacramento and crucially other opening up state licences are there any venture capitalists out there that canl see the potential here just a complete reboot here of the business model and bobs you're uncle imo
I could not agree more with both posts today, this is a great opportunity to invest, I did sell £2500 on Friday only to buy back in when or if they dip down. This share could be down to 1.30 or up to 2.5p by the end of the week. I’m always trading a few but now hold almost 6 million shares so totally believe in the company.
However, it would be good to hear some positive news from the board, and we may need to be in for the long haul, but I think we will get snapped up soon. At this price, there are so many would be suitors you would think with deep cheque books waiting in the wings.
Let’s see what happens next week
This is the ultimate bottom drawer investment. It'll repay fine, but who knows how long it'll take.
I have no problem leaving a slug in here.
DYOR
The licences here are valuable no question but if only webis would use the quinnbet business model that has proved so profitable in Ireland this company would become a goldmine or better still quinnbet get involved here. In a survey 80% of respondents in USA said they were in favour of fixed odds gambling. So a new opening up gambling horizon could even see one of the big guns stake building here Betfred 888 Ladbrokes or even an emerican bohemoth company dyor
I would suggest they were all buys today - I recall building a stake a couple of years ago and it took 25,000 chunks as there was just no float available.
Time to go Ballistic!!
Can only imagine if some real buys came in
Webis is a major player in the sports betting market with an Mcap of £6.49m!!! I suspect the Mcap to rise considerably if this is correct.
They will get it together eventually, is there any news on a new ballot?
Such a rise on 2 trades both sells?

Whats going on?
Step in here Denise with a low ball offer of 9p per share and take this company over . You created a monster with bet 365 and you can do the very same here within a 60 month timeframe. And you are already getting some bang for you're buck.Webis currently own Paris mutuel licences in the states of California Maryland Colorado Minnesota n york Washington Kentucky the buyer of webis also gets a valuable isle of man licence. Webis also provides a pari mutuel service that allows wagering into the international stage. All solid revenue streams .but of course the huge revenue that will be created here is from the fixed odds betting revenue that will be created here.each state badly needs revenue and the state fixed odds betting licences that webis hold are hugely valuable and with the right framework to create value for punters (see paragraph below) this company can list on the Nasdaq 5 years down the line with a significant premium dyor way undervalued at the moment imo
