I’m 80% down on a £5k investment but that’s the nature of this sometimes, could be worse….but not much. I’ll have to hang in for the long game to at
least recover my initial investment and hope that the carbon offset takes off and gives us all an injection of hope! Enjoy your day people !!
Strong nerves and deep pockets!!!
Need strong nerves for this stock. Rollercoaster today. Next week's RNS should be interesting.
We'll be back down to the depths of 0.4 in no time. woeful stock.
This was an interesting piece from the RNS:-
The number of votes validly cast were in respect of 1,323,351,221 shares, representing 35.9% of the 3,685,850,726 ordinary share capital of the Company, being the total number of shares in issue with voting rights at 6.00pm on 28th December 2023.
I deduce from this that about 64.1% of the voting shares are held by the public who do not bother to vote. Possibly holding small packets of shares. It seems unsurprising that the SP is like a yo-yo as there are so many people taking punts on the shares on every piece of news, good or bad.
In my opinion, time for me to top up and look forward to 2024/2025. Buying more, with a view to hold is best.
Still higher highs on the year, hopefully we get a bounce from these levels. It was profit taking on sell the news on shareholders meeting, but 2024 and beyond looks much better than 2023.
My shares have dropped in value by £8,000 in the last few weeks!!!
Gulp!
Well, the share price is defo on the drop!!!
I wonder when the carbon credit work will start to impact this positively!?
Punters galore this week - that's to be expected for this market. The statement due at the end of the month should reveal news on the financial state of the company.
'It'll be 0.38 again in no time!' Where it will still be OVERVALUED!
Yet the SP dips!
Completely agree with you ObiWan14. My limited understanding is that the company is issuing 60,000,000 Ordinary Voting Shares that will go to Rhino Ventures Limited (Miles Pelham) as a commission fee for the 2023 subscription. This has already been announced subject to it passing a Company General Meeting as has the warrants.
Good Luck All. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Checked the rns from last year, this was already agreed and signed of before so old news
There seem to be a never ending stream of warrants and non-voting shares
What on earth is happening with this share price? Anyone know why its dropping again?
Because of the new CEO and Chair issue?
It'll be 0.38 again in no time!
Beg to differ else no company would require a Chairman and a CEO would not be accountable.
Chairman has no real function just an honour role , they just erased one position hence cost cutting.
Dear Sam,
For all our sakes, I sincerely hope your sentiments come to fruitation. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Contrary to Birdman I have always been optimistic about this company. It has ridden out the storms, some pretty difficult, and always makes the right decisions. In view of the low 2022 income I can understand trimming the cost of the old CEO from overheads. The progress on carbon credits is helpful.
This is a 1p share gamble and it may pay off handsomely. But if it goes belly up I'm not over-invested. However, I'm holding my nerve with my fingers and legs crossed.
Lewis66 I am with you. How I view this is a CEO has been replaced by a Non Executive Director so one less employee. The previous Chairman stood back because he couldn't dedicate enough time to the role. But now we have his replacement also as CEO. How can he possibly dedicate enough time to both roles without consideration for the upheaval of repositioning Woodbois? I truly believe Woodbois is going to be split in two separate companies and the shareholders will be positioned in a take it or leave it to the negative company.
I have never been negative towards Woodbois till now despite everything and I was hoping to invest a further £12,500 in April BUT how can anyone be positive about Woodbois now after less than two weeks from an AGM (that was always badly timed in my thoughts) the CEO has either resigned or I would say more accurately pushed out?
Who knows what's going on but nobody can say so shortly after an AGM a CEO has gone is consistent with the Woodbois presentation.
I for one am holding my shares, with the recent drop maybe I will be able to achieve more shares for my £12,500 gamble in April that I still intend to do but it will be a BLOODY GAMBLE IN THIS FRUSTRATING COMPANY.
I WISH EVERY INVESTOR WELL WITH THEIR DECISIONS TO HOLD, SELL OR BUY WOODBOIS SHARES... 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Struggling to see how this is good news tbh - a 4 mth tenure of the CEO is rarely +ive. The market doesn't look like its taking it +ive either. Im holding whatever long term - so just another bump in the road.
I think we’ll see some good share price appreciation this year. Better trading results, good profit and hopefully a tangible step forward with the carbon credits which is where the big money is
Cuttin cost as they streamlining the business, the new chair looked vivid to me, i think it will be refreshing to have a new team lead this company after this 23 mess.
Old CEO not at all impressive on the day (see video). Was he healthy?
I agree with others that the restructuring is a positive move. This share price is not going to rocket for the moment. The report at the end of the month should be revealing, particularly how they are dealing with the huge drop in revenue in 2023. Is this more dilution round the corner?
