It's gone very quiet here!

Agree, this is a great long term hold
For a year or so. Bought some today as a long term investment. Love the industry sector. Feel 2019 will be a big year for these kind of companies.
Totally agree Luke, just building the company, I won't touch my shares for a long time.

Yeah agree with all. They have been expanding their team fairly well but yeah more of the same would be positive signs. Also yes while their revenue wasn’t better than expected, at least they’re clearly capable of making sales, and as acquisitions of VR headsets ramps up, they’re primed to take advantage of any increase in demand.
I can see the temptation for a short term swing, but the big spread makes it difficult to actually cash out profits on upward movements. This support level of 10.00 is fairly crucial. If it moves below it for longer than a day or two, that wouldn’t be a great sign for the short term. However there is reason to believe it couldn’t bounce from this level. We just have to wait and see for now! Semi positive news is better than bad news/no news..!
*view to trade
I am with you Luke, this is a LT hold. I will be honest though, I have held around 300k shares for awhile now and plan to hold these long term. I did however also buy a smaller amount recently with a few to trade, and you have probably read my posts and made a good read on this that I was looking short term. I thought results may have meant this might tick up to the highs seen last year but evidently today that hasn't happened.
Either way this company is generating good revenue in a nascent market. Half the battle is getting to this point, and they are there now and positioned nicely to become a market leader in VR Education.
I would like to see a steady increase in staffing / developer levels in the coming months, expanding their team and operations in London, tapping into the talent pool more easily outside of Ireland.
Always optimistic looking forward however I think that lack of Titanic sales numbers which were promised last year reflects today lack of buys, not to worry !
Nice to see new experiences being released , steady away.
Looks v nice... should spike nicely today... as for EVRH - whats the beef? Its good too!
A much better update, two new titles and increased marketing and eyes.
Demand for the Group's VR showcase experiences, comprising Apollo 11 VR and Titanic VR, remains in line with management's expectations with new experiences, including Raid on the Ruhr (Dambusters Experience) expected to launch in H1 2019 and Space Shuttle Commander (Working Title) expected in H2 2019.
Much more detail than the poor update from EVRH which continues to provide little information omshareholders.
Just reading recent threads, I think it's important to remember why we're here. It's not to make a quick 10% hit. We're all here because we've felt there is serious potential here for medium to long term growth.
Results will be coming out soon, but we need to put them in perspective. Everything available to date - Apollo, Titanic etc, have been showcases of VR Education's capabilities. Therefore we shouldn't be overly disappointed or ecstatic if results are better or worse than expected. They're merely showcases.
Engage is everything. It's the core of this enterprise. The website looks good, but looking at social media, they have a very limited reach in terms of facebook, twitter engagement etc. They need to embrace social media fully if they're to drive sales through social media. I've been doing marketing courses on the side of work in finance for the last couple of years out of interest, so I tend to keep a close eye on this side of the business, which is more important than ever today.
As of right now, the Spread is 15%. To buy @ 10.00 would be an absolute steal, so no one should be considering selling @ 10.00. Frankly, buying at 11:50 is a steal, and will look generous in hindsight.
Unforunately, American markets and European/UK markets are primed for another dump, after having a brief reprieve over the last few weeks. This may lead to VR slipping slightly further (it may not, but be mentally prepared for it).
Regardless, in 6 months the share price will be much higher than it is today, an in 12, 18, 24 months, it will be substantially higher.
Try not to stress too much on the day to day swings, and don't allow yourself to get burnt by selling with this massive spread. If you ever try to buy back in, you will be immediately forfeiting 15%+.
Hold strong.
I think they will be positive also. Downloads for the Oculus GO app for Android passed over 1 million the other week I believe. Iphone you would like to think similar numbers. You have to download the app to get the headset setup, so it is a good indication of sales figures. I brought a GO myself in May and the Apollo 11 app was easily found as one of the more popular apps. Sales will be good and this sp and marketcap will are going to be left for dust imo.
Hope so, I think it will be positive, Apollo seems to add by 10000 with every 3 month announcement we will get a build up of announcements throughout this year, charging structure now on Engage site.
Thanks John. I hope they’ll include sales figures from the GO for the Apollo 11 also.
Not sure about results, next announcement I read ,due out end of Jan regarding Titanic sales.
I agree Jimmy! I genuinely feel that there is a big upside coming as sales will have been excellent! Strong hold. GLA and DYOR
Anybody know what date results are due?
Directors brought in May at 16p. VR industry and this company have been progressing steadily since and we’re at 10-11p, bargain! Expecting this to tick up on release of numbers. Plenty more headsets in circulation now. DW said 7m I think in his last interview, which I think was based after Q3 last year. My guess would be closer to 10m after Christmas and Q4, what with all the Black Friday and Xmas deals that were available for PSVR, Rift and the Go.
VR sentiment and tide will turn when the latest sales figures get released for any of those headsets imo.
their new website looks good — https://engagevr.io
Agree. This company has a bright future.
Don't understand the mindset of people who are selling in a scenario like this.
Would be better finding the nearest gutter and just throwing your money down into it.
