97p for me please.
Good week just gone. I think Nov GDP surprise was in driven in part by telecoms according to Darren Morgan at the ONS. Further GDP improvement may lift the SP again?. Enough pressure now from interest rates to make VOD a great hold and bòokend to a portfolio imo

Thank you Roofer.
1st I would like to say my fear that all would not go well this week is in the past and I salute all those who have made this week not only a success but also a delight.
2nd I hope you will all join me in thanking those who prepared and served this excellent dinner, the staff of the kitchen and the LSE restaurant
3rd I would like to thank those who have contributed to the weeks events, Vladimer Putin, Christine Lagarde, Jerome Powell, Guttersnipe. For all, our thanks.
I would also like to send best wishes to those who are not here today but who have contributed much to LSE scholarship, Danielh, Longish, Fleccy, Gerry557, Newbie644, Char333, Mole-man99, Gary59.
And I would also like to thank those - which may include some among you here - who have contributed toward our ambition to reach 127p by 1st February and £2 by the end of the year.
With that I will hand back to Roofer and forecast 93.9p for Friday 20th

What was you doing yeaterday lol
And the last half hour decline has kicked in
Vodafone said in a statement: “We are reviewing our operating model, focusing on streamlining and simplifying the group. We will say more about the changes when we announce our third-quarter results on February 1.”
Looks like the usual afternoon drop today - not a bad week all considering as long as it doesn't do anything to stupid this afternoon
Had our rise. Job cuts , FEB statement and profit takers will down this again.
Headlines - Vodafone planning hundreds of job cuts, mainly in London - report.
So if this is true then I can see the SP going up lots, the city love it when companies cut costs.
131 target too, which also happens to he 200% fib on the weekly, from the previous lower high.

BofA upgrades Vod from neutral to buy
Thanks for your reply Compound, will be interesting to see what developments take place here in the coming months, at least we are now in profit with our last top ups, let's hope it continues to improve from here

Wells Fargo calling 2.2% inflation by end of the year in US
BoA upgraded VOD from neutral to buy this morning
Terminal rate lower makes the asset sales more valuable
Lower inflation means less risk on costs (VOD has energy costs hedged)
Getting to grips with Spain
Planetary alignment today...
Be 120 by May i reckon, pick up the divi too and it'll be a great run
robleo - looking at around 107p at the moment, but may adjust that depending on market conditions. Certainly won't be holding past that as markets starting to look a bit toppy. May even sell some or all at 100p as that's probably going to be a big area of resistance, and I'd rather bank some profits in the next week or so before earnings seasons starts in earnest as it could be a catalyst for big market moves in either direction.
Poker,
I think you are right. A small correction perhaps to reflect lower inflationary pressures, in the absence of any other news. Gas prices are indeed lower and will feed through over the next few months, and if Vod were worried about massively increasing energy costs, then these are unlikely to last very long, especially if they have the clout to obtain good tariffs throughout their areas of operation.
5% increase in share price today? Happy with that after recently topping up below that level.
Compound, what price are you looking for to sell ?
Cheers
"Summer divi is safe"
Even if it is cut by a third...it has been priced in the lows of 84p -90p - IMO
