When the next Dividends please
90p solid support now
I havent got mine yet but in no rush.
I will be using the dividend to pay for additional years on my wifes state pension which when in payment will produce £10k per annum for 35 years nic contributions.
Hi, yes. just under 4p a share. I'm with EQi.
yes, paid into my ii account.
Day traders make hay.
I thought there was a vod dividend payable today, anyone had theirs.
Purely based on the activity of buyers and sellers recently I think there's a good chance we'll see 88p and a lower chance we'll see 84.75 (I guess this would require news or a wider market jitter). I'm in and out here quite frequently due to the huge volume and low spreads.
If we stay around this price I’ll win this week , I guessed 94.7!
Hope I’m wrong and it’s higher
Never mind Mikey. Good luck mate. Just try & be positive please. It might just work?
No has he gone daniel - thanks for telling me the obvious . Until this has a decent CEO in and deals are made instead of talked about nothing will change . Looking forward to many more mikey days especially for you .
Mikey. The CEO has gone. Time for you to move on, & leave vodafone to the share holders & those who support the company.
iggypop. Pay attention, Mikey " didn't say it would all happen in one day did I -duh." You could not make this guy Mikey up? Lets just hope we don't have a Mikey day tomorrow? I can't take anymore? Straight over the cuckoos nest!
Haha same old rubbish spouted by danielh lord of the Vodafone Board . You carry on spouting your crap daniel - as I stated many times i was not critical of vodafone as a company - i was critical of the BOD and CEO , but as usual you keep on only reading the bits you want to read , and yes I am pleased for the majority of holders here - you are not one of them as you habe a serious attitude problem :)
Poor little ex vod employee, ex vod shareholder Mikey. He still can't move on. Of course todays rise is good for vod shareholders. Why is it bad for Mikey? , Many ex employees are critical of there old employers, but Mikey takes it to another level. Sad or what. Your bitterness will destroy you. Move on please.
Danielh - still clutching in hope he will get all his losses back - good look daniel - funny how one days rise gets everybody all excited haha
Iggypop - one day it has gone up - still plenty of time to drop back into the 80’s - i didnt say it would happen all in one day did I - duh
One day fleccy . Its up one day - if it continues great but you know what vodafone is like - more likely be straight back down tomorrow
I'll do some Mikey commentary, for today, in his absence:
Oh well - looks like we are heading back up to the mid 90’s . Another day that tells you I was wrong about this going down to the mid 80's.
robleo. The day Mikey has got it right all along, is the time for us all to give up.
Ex dividend day was 24th November 2022.
Dividend payment date is 3 Feb 2023
This piqued my interest as companies can only pay dividends out of positive distributable reserves not share capital or premium. Vodafone can pay dividends because it has a massive merger reserve created (on the Mannesman acquisition mostly) pre 2004 which is hidden in additional paid in capital. What seems to have happened is that subsequently the massive goodwill and other write offs from these acquisitions went through the profit and loss account creating the massive deficit you can see today in the b/f figures.
As ever with shares its what happens in the future that counts not historic nuances of merger accounting from 20 years ago.
Not me, I started adding post XD...I'm going to have to wait until the summer for my dividend fuelled decadent cocaine orgy.
Hopefully they'll be some decent capital appreciation enroute too
Spend on fast women it is :)
