VOD USA just spiked up over 3%, maybe more good news on the horizon.
if this the week the 101p is on for the Friday or will I need to raise it higher if it reaches it today?
Anyway for those that added near the recent lows - well done it seems and nice to collect the juicy dividend early Feb.
criminally undervalued so enjoy the ride up. FTSE looks like after 3 attempts if can hold abot 8000.
I think so too, I have a very large amount of legacy VOD shares but recently bought £4K worth at .91p ish which is turning out to be a nice trade/investment...
Vodafone needs to sell of its Australia shares. I think Ghana was going to be sold off. Other than that they can spin off Africa all together. Then maybe one day a big Africa deal will happen to merge Vodacom with orange Africa or something
'The arrival of a serial dealmaker on Vodafone’s shareholder register has prompted analysts and investors to raise their bets on a break-up of the operator’s sprawling business.'

"Hello fleccy. What is your take on this. mehmeh, thinks Liberty have taken out options"
To be honest I don't know, the RNS shows the full 1.335 Billion shares are held in a financial instrument, but it doesn't state the nature of the instrument. The article, referred to previously, mentioned Non Recourse Financing without disclosing the nature of the financing.
'They can sell the calls at any time and move on'
Yes they can but they are saying c€154Bn assets are undervalued and they are going to wait for it to correct. Its still a bet but telco is his business. US will take note of his opinion
